Firefighter/Paramedic

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full Time/Part Time Reserve

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

HOURS: 48/96 rotating schedule
SALARY: $52,467.00 Approximate Starting Annual Base Salary

Applicants will be required to take the following examinations and interviews:

• Application/Resume Review
• Written Examination
• Job Specific Performance Assessment (Waived for current Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) certificate within 1 year of application deadline)
• Skills Assessment
• Oral Interview Examination
• Chiefs Interview
 

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Colorado drivers license
• High School Diploma or equivalent or higher education
• Current State of Colorado Paramedic Certificate
• Current CPR card
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (“PALS”) certification within one year of hire
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (“ACLS”) certification
• Pass Background Investigation and clean MVR
• Medical Examination
